Fume (Asian cabbage slaw)

Hi Family!  I hope you all got my invite to be blog co-authors!  Please let me know of any suggestions you have for changes and additions to the layout. (Or, just make the changes if it will let you!)  Please feel free to post your recipes, tips, links and recipe requests.  Since I'm making Debbie's famous fume for lunch today, I thought I'd start our blog by sharing the recipe for this delicious favorite salad:

1.  Chop one large head of cabbage finely, as for cole slaw.

2.  For dressing, mix:
1 c. olive oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

3.  Sauteé sesame seeds in a saucepan with a bit of oil.  A mix of black and white seeds is nice.

4.  Crumble some dry ramen noodles.

5.  Add dressing to cabbage. Sprinkle noodles & sesame seeds on top of salad & enjoy!

Wow Lind! You set that up so fast! Amazing! I'm really looking forward to this, and the name of the blog is quite appropriate, bee tee dubs. Hi Mom, if you're reading this I'm VERY interested in the recipe for banana bread, anything thanksgiving-related, and the famous oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe, just to name a few. :) Ahhh this is such a great idea. xoxo
